By now, you should be tired of your winter wardrobe, super knits and cardigans, and ready to make some serious fashion moves. The temperatures are just right to dive into spring fashion and get a head start on giving your closet that makeover it desperately needs.
If you don’t know, March is the perfect time to get your wardrobe all organized and ready for the new season.
That’s why I’m letting you in on my top 3 steps to getting your wardrobe spring-ready in a snap.
1. EDIT YOUR WARDROBE
It’s best to declutter and edit your wardrobe when the season is about to change. Now that it’s spring, it’s the perfect time to revisit your entire closet. To make things easy, sort things into 3 piles: Keep, Throw Away, and Undecided.
2. ORGANIZE YOUR BASICS
Sort out your basics and bring them to the front of your closest. This includes your cotton tees, button down blouses and jeans. No matter what your wardrobe focus is, your foundation should be built on a great collection of basics.
3. ADD SOME COLOR AND/OR PRINT
During the winter, we tend to wear darker, moodier tones to suit the weather. And although there is nothing wrong with wearing the color black, gray and beige hues, you should opt for throwing in some color to spice things up.
