I’ve always been an addict of statement jewelry and I’m a firm believer that the right statement necklace can change your life…and your entire wardrobe. In other words, just adding 1 piece of jewelry, such as a statement necklace, can transform your ensemble into that trendy look you desire.
I love sprucing up my outfit by piling on statement pieces that add that ‘wow factor’ you don’t get from traditional accessory pieces.

My personal favorite is to pair statement necklaces with something that would otherwise be considered boring. Like a plain blazer or a denim jacket. You can wear them so many different ways. I was gifted two statement necklaces from 7 Charming Sisters.
Haven’t heard of 7 Charming Sisters and their jewelry line? If not, you don’t know what you’re missing. 7 Charming Sisters is the brainchild of seven “work sisters” who have a deep commitment to helping those with disabilities. Many of their homemade pieces are handcrafted by those with intellectual disabilities.
When making a statement, you may feel a little intimidated. And that is why I’ve come up with 3 seriously chic ways to wear a statement necklace.
WITH A BLAZER OR BLOUSE
Showcase a single statement piece by buttoning up the blouse to the collar and pair with a fitted blazer. Add matching or contrasting flats or your favorite pumps to tie it all together. I chose to pair my Total Fantasy necklace with a denim blazer and matching denim flats to create a chic, yet simple look.
Add some color to your blazer by pairing with a statement necklace made from colorful gems or brightly hued gems. For an added touch, a brightly colored statement necklace would look cool next to colored pumps (especially if they are fuchsia, like these pictured here).
Do you have a statement piece that is so beautiful that you want it to be the focal point of your look? Wear a monochromatic outfit that is full of texture to make the necklace really pop.
